Bi-component polyester spunbond technology is used to extrude filaments in two different cross-sectional geometries; (1) round core and sheath and (2) tipped trilobal.

Buffalo Round Core and Sheath:     Core is PET and sheath is CoPET
Buffalo Tipped Trilobal (TCS):     Core is PET and the lobes’ tips are CoPET

The presence of the lower melt temperature CoPET in the filaments allows good fiber-to-fiber bonding.  When compared to standard flat bonded PET spunbond, Buffalo exhibits higher CD tensile strength, abrasion resistance and internal bonding.  Mogul Buffalo bi-component PET is a unique and premium product because of limited industry technology and a very limited number of suppliers.

The Polyester resins as received by Mogul meet food contact regulations for FDA 21CFR-1771630
